Seminar (scientific discussion) |
The duration of scientific seminar-discussion is 40-60 min. (oral presentation with multimedia). Seminar The purpose of the discussion is to interpret and describe the significance of specific topic (scientific problem) in light of what was already known about it and to explain any new understanding or insights that emerged as a result of student study of this topic or problem. The main literature of seminar is articles. Students must review the most important state of art and older scientific articles in the field of topic. During the seminar student is asked for questions from audience about seminar topic. Students’ answers to questions and ability to participate in discussion are important for student assessment. Evaluation system uses 10-point grading scale. The examination commission consists of exam chairman and two other members. Each of them performs independent grading. The average grade is presented as final exam mark.
