Having taken the Lithuanian Government’s decisions into account, the working group at Vilnius University, responsible for coronavirus prevention, has decided to extend the remote work period at Vilnius University up until 31 May.
All other previously established work-related rules also apply.
However, with regard to the relaxation of the quarantine conditions in the country, some services at the University are also being restarted in a gradual manner, taking all the precautions.
Therefore, as of 8 May, the Botanical Garden of Vilnius University will reopen its doors to visitors. As of 15 May, you will be able to rent a room in Vilnius University’s recreation centres in Palanga (Romuva) and Pervalka.
In addition, our Health and Sports Centre has already reopened its tennis court, and it will introduce options for individual indoor sports as of 18 May, about which you will be informed later.
