Prime Minister S. Skvernelis together with Minister of Education, Science and Sport A. Monkevičius visited VU LSC.
“LSC stands out from other sectors by the added value that it creates. Due to the innovations of this center, Lithuania, being such a small country, becomes a leader in the field of intellectual property in the world“, — acknowledged the Prime Minister after visiting the labs of VU LSC.
VU LSC intends to expand collaboration with EMBL. For this purpose, a novel body of studies and research, aimed at the development of prof. V. Šikšnys achievements, is being planned to be established. The head of the Government assured that the state will find necessary funds for the development of this project.
During the meeting the leaders of VU LSC introduced means that enable young talents to establish new enterprises, produce highly-ranked products and services.
