During an online seminar „The less known facets of ISOLDE: Beyond Standard Model searches and live science applications“ presented by Dr Magdalena Kowalska (CERN) on behalf of the ISOLDE physics team, two probably less know aspects of ISOLDE research were discussed.
In addition to issues relevant to new physics, ideas were presented on how unstable ISOLDE nuclei could be used as new medical diagnostic methods and more effective cancer treatment plans.
