Preliminary Topic: Development and application of an in vitro blood-brain barrier model

Short Description of the Internship Work: During the internship, the student will use molecular methods to thoroughly describe endothelial cells and their formed blood-brain barrier in vitro model, as well as investigate the ability of different delivery vectors to cross this barrier. The student will learn to work with mammalian cell cultures, immunocytochemical staining, microscopy imaging, analyze the obtained images, assess the permeability of the barrier model, and summarize the data.

Qualification Requirements (Degree): BSc
