The one giving such a gift to their Alma Mater is Physicist Gediminas Vaitiekūnas

On April 18, VU Rector Prof. Artūras Žukauskas and Mr. G. Vaitiekūnas signed cooperation and donation agreements. The VU alumnus is donating exhibits of mammals and birds hunted in 33 countries around the world to the university. The entire collection will consist of about 100 exhibits. Most of them are from Africa (56 items), Europe (27 items), Asia (12 items), South America (10 items) and North America (4 items). Many of the exhibits for the exhibition were prepared by taxidermy world champion Kęstutis Bybartas.
