The LSC Endowment Sub-Fund is a sustainable model of donor management, where the donations received are not spent, but invested sVU Life Sciences Center Endowment Subfund is a sustainable and intelligent finance management model, where the received funds are invested in various asset classes and the return on investment is allocated annually to the needs of the center. 
The return on investment of the VU LSC Subfund will be allocated to strengthen the its strategic priorities:
(1) to become an integral part of the European life sciences community: to carry out internationally competitive science and studies;
(2) to strengthen the potential of Lithuanian life sciences: to contribute to the development of the life sciences ecosystem in the country;
(3) to motivate the Life Sciences Center community: to improve working and study conditions.
'In the future, by using the funds accumulated and increased through investment tools, the sub-fund can make a significant contribution to the implementation of the strategic goals of the Life Sciences Centre, attracting young talented researchers from all over the world, developing new study programmes, implementing civic initiatives and co-financing the development of the Centre's research and study infrastructure', says Prof. Dr. Gintaras Valinčius, Director of VU LSC.
